You have the Post-Up and Swap-Out for general information gathering and sorting, the Top-Down and Bottom-Up for either generating or coalescing data, and you have the Information Map and the Action Map, either for finding commonality between the disparate or creating flow. I really etraker a lot of the ideas laid out in this book despite their obvious lack of environmental consideration you’d go through a lot of paper doing this. The swap sort to figure out priorities and some method of moving the notes into flow charts in various ways could be very useful.
