Ukrainians want to see Ukraine and Russia the states without customs

Only a quarter of the interrogated Ukrainian citizens (27,4 %) define Russia as “the friendly state and the strategic partner”. Data of the sociological poll which has been carried out by the Center of social researches Sofia from February 3 to February 12, 2009 testify to it. At the same time, 37,6 % of respondents consider Russia, first of all as the trading and economic partner, and 25,3 % – the economic and political rival and the competitor. Another 7 % I consider Russia as the hostile state. 2,7 % found it difficult to answer this question. Besides, poll showed that 63,9 % of Ukrainians would like to see Ukraine and Russia independent, but the friendly states, with open borders, without visas and customs.

At the same time 19 % of respondents consider that Ukraine and Russia should be same, as well as with other states – with boundary control and visas, 16 % of Ukrainians consider that Ukraine and Russia should unite to the uniform state. 1,1 % of respondents found it difficult to answer this question.

Answering a question concerning an assessment of the relations between Russia and Ukraine, 59,7 % of respondents characterized them as rather bad, 23,1 % – very bad, 12,2 % – rather good, 0,2 % called the relations between two countries as very good and 4,8 % of respondents found it difficult to answer this question.

Research was carried out from February 3 to February 12 the current year in all areas of Ukraine, 2018 respondents were interrogated 18 years are more senior. The statistical error does not exceed 2,2 %.

Meanwhile, the Russian Federation in 2008 sank in estimation other people more strongly, than any country of the world, results of the annual poll which has been carried out by request of BBC testify.
